[Edmundston, NB] – Golf New Brunswick was thrilled to host the highly anticipated 2024 Women’s Provincials at Le Club de Golf Fraser Edmundston Golf Club, driven by Audi Moncton. The event took place on July 12th to 14th, showcasing the pinnacle of women’s golf talent across the province. The tournament highlighted the dedication and skill of local athletes and underscored New Brunswick’s rich golfing heritage and commitment to promoting women’s sports at every level.
After three rounds of intense competition, four athletes came out on top with scores that reflected their true talent.
Congratulations to Brenda Parrott of the Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club who came out on top of the Platinum Division! Brenda had a score of +47 (266) which gained her the title of Gross Champion.
Leanne Richardson of Country Meadows Golf Club took the crown for both the Senior and Super Senior Gross Champion. Leanne had an impressive score of +16 (235) after three rounds. Congratulations Leanne!
The Gross Champion of the Mid-Amateur Division goes to Laura Wesselius of Petitcodiac Valley Golf & Country Club. She had a final score of +9 (228) after three rounds. Congratulations Laura!
And finally, the Gross Champion of the Amateur Division finished her round with an outstanding score of -2 (217). Congratulations to Callie Taylor of The Riverside Country Club!
