[Mactaquac, NB] – Golf New Brunswick hosted the 2024 Men’s Mid-Amateur & Mid-Master Championship, presented by Clear Power Solutions Inc., at the Mactaquac Golf Course. With the beautiful backdrop overlooking the Saint John River, and the layout featuring a mix of open fairways and wooded areas, Mactaquac was set to cater to all levels of play. From July 26th to 28th, the best golfers in New Brunswick from this age category had the opportunity to compete for the Mid-Amateur & Mid-Master championship titles.
Congratulations to Dax Philips of the Fredericton Golf Club who finished with an amazing score of –7 (209) in three rounds, plus playoffs. The crowd went wild after Dax hit an eagle chip in on hole 10 to secure the Mid-Amateur Championship title during playoffs!
Our Mid-Master Championship title goes to Jason Roach of The Riverside Country Club who had a final gross score of –4 (212). Jason also won in the playoffs with an incredible putt in on 18. Congratulations Jason!
