2017 NB Men’s Four Ball Returning to the Hampton Golf Club

NB Men’s Four Ball – 1st Round Pairings & Tee-Times

Golf New Brunswick`s (Golf NB) NB Men’s and NB Senior Men’s Four Ball Championships will be held on June 17th and 18th, 2017 at the Hampton Golf Club for the third straight year.

The NB Men’s and Senior Men’s Four Ball events will continue with its historical two day, 36 hole, format with 17 and 21 teams respectively.

The men’s field will see reigning champion Tim McRae of the Hampton Golf Club pair up with club mate Ryan Allaby to defend his title at home. McRae and Allaby will be challenged by 2015 NB Men’s Four Ball co-champions Kyle Hampsey and Glenn Byrne, both of the Fredericton Golf Club. Two-time NB Junior champion (2008 & 2009) and two-time NB Amateur runner-up (2011 & 2012), Stephane Boudreau of the Moncton Golf & Country Club, teams up with Greg Mazerolle of Rockwood Park Golf Club as they look to make their mark on the Four Ball event.

The Senior Men’s division includes 2016 champions Mike Bishop and Stuart Hazelwood of the host Hampton Golf Club returning to defend their title. As with the men’s division, the Senior Men’s field is very strong as the three-time NB Senior Men’s Champion (2009,2010, & 2014) Gary Melanson of the Covered Bridge Golf & Country Club teams up with Bob Gray of the Maplewood Golf & Country Club looking to claim their second title after being crowned co-champions 2015.

The deep and diverse fields in both the Men’s and Senior Men’s divisions should make for an exciting weekend filled with great competitive golf.
